106.3 Bridge FM
Bridge FM is the local commercial radio station broadcasting in south Wales' Bridgend County Borough and the surrounding areas on a frequency of 106.3 MHz.[1]
Bridge FM transmits to an area of around 136,000 people, playing hit music, along with local news, travel information and competitions. The station is owned by Town & Country Broadcasting, and is part of a group of six local radio stations (the others being Bay Radio, Radio Carmarthenshire, Scarlet FM, Radio Pembrokeshire and Radio Ceredigion). Town and Country Broadcasting also operates one regional station, Nation Radio in south Wales.
Bridge FM can be heard in parts of Cardiff and as far away as Newport, as well as in parts of Bath and Somerset.
History
Bridge FM was formally owned by Tindle Radio Group but sold to Town and Country Broadcasting in 2007 becoming the company's 5th Radio Station.
